Friday, 13 October 2000. Yonkers, New York. Jeremy Crow received the accolade of knighthood in the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem during a private vigil in the residence of Patriarch Ronald V. Cappello (Tau Mikaƫl I).
The Room and the Date
Twelve candidates were knighted, with Crow among them. Cappello, acting as the conferring prelate, made thirteen people present in that temporary chapter. The date was chosen deliberately, marking the 693rd anniversary of the dawn arrests of the Knights Templar by Philip IV in 1307.
What Cappello Stated That Night
He stated explicitly that the candidates were being knighted in both the American and Portuguese successions. Crow's recollection is that Cappello remarked he had recently returned from Portugal. That specific remark is recorded as memory rather than a verified boarding pass, maintaining absolute intellectual honesty in the record.
Faculties and Tactus
Cappello conveyed the formal faculty to dub new knights under the lineage of that office. Rather than utilizing that tactus to operate existing external administrative bodies, that living sword-line is carried forward into the sovereign Knights of the Ziggurat.
Archival Papers
Instruments governing this act are held within the archives of the Canadian See of Cerinthus. Patriarch Cappello's episcopal and historical dossier is maintained at the Gnostic Temple of the Morning Star.
